You are exhausted by the chaos of your partners addiction.

You don’t know exactly how you got here, but your relationship feels tarnished by this ‘thing’. It’s confusing and you can’t make sense of it.

Some things you might be feeling…

  • Anger & Confusion

  • Resentment & Betrayal

  • Lonely & Hopeless

  • Powerless & Insecure

  • Exasperated & Disgusted

  • Hurt & Disappointed

  • Isolated & Empty

You might feel like you’re banging your head against a wall, as you repeatedly try and get confirmation and validation from you partner that something isn’t right - but instead they might tell you they don’t have a problem that there is no problem. You might be told it’s either all in your head or it’s actually you that has the problem.

Please know that everything you’re feeling is NORMAL.

This is a really confusing situation.

The person you have chosen to spend your life with is behaving in an unusual way.

You, in response to this are probably reacting and responding in unusual ways - which is understandable.

Know that these reactions are driven predominately by fear - and nothing good comes from responding/reacting from a place of fear.

When people can’t or won’t show up in your relationship in a way in which you need or want, you start to tell yourself a story…

🤍 That this is something personally against you, it’s something you’ve done.

🤍 That this is how life is now, this is the way things are and nothing will change or improve.

🤍 That you are somehow unworthy.

🤍 That this your new normal, to live in uncertainty, fear and make decisions from that place.

🤍 That your happiness is hitched to their sobriety, recovery… or lack there of.

Do you find yourself stuck in “Destination Happiness?”

🤍 That all the good things coming into your life are dependent on your partner’s sobriety or recovery.

🤍 Everything will be good WHEN they are sober.

🤍 Everything will be “back to normal” once they are in recovery.

🤍 I will be happy once they stop doing “the things”.

I used to think all of that too. And it just doesn’t work that way.

You might be asking yourself is coaching for me…?

  • This coaching program is right for you if you are ready to stop waiting for your partner (or ex partner) to change, and transform your OWN life NOW. It’s thinking where could you be in 3 months, 6 months, 1 years time if you take back control of your own well being?

It’s going to take dedication and commitment from your side. No one can do this for you - and I know that can be scary. And you are worth it.

Change starts with YOU

  • You are ready take responsibility and accountability for ways that aren’t serving you and actively change those for the better, which will be better for al those around you.

  • You are motivated to change and want better for yourself because you know you deserve it, and you know you can't do it alone.

Still on the fence…?

  • Only you can take this step and I know it's not easy. Because this involves stopping the behavior of beeing so busy obsessing over someone else’s problems and to start to identify and look in the mirror to our own.

And that takes a certain level of ownership and courage.

AND... with so much focus on getting support for our loved one, it can feel so uncomfortable to realise that,

We need support for ourselves, and

    We deserve support for ourselves.

Getting support for you will actually help your loved one too, and your other family members. When you are better, you can be better for others and everyone wins in that scenario.

“Working with Amanda has really changed my life. When I found her I was confused, hopeless and depressed - really loving my partner but not knowing how to get through it. Through our work, I feel empowered, strong and capable - no matter what comes. Having strong boundaries and clear communication ironically created a better relationship with my partner as well. If you have a chance to work with her, I highly recommend. It is game changing.”

Luna B.
